Dr. David Goldberg is a pediatric cardiologist and associate professor of pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Goldberg grew up in New Jersey before attending Amherst College and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He was an intern, resident, and chief resident at Yale – New Haven Children’s Hospital before coming to CHOP for a cardiology fellowship is 2005. Dr. Goldberg joined the faculty at CHOP in 2009 and is currently the associate director of the Cardiac Care Unit and a member of the echocardiography lab. Dr. Goldberg has a special interest in single ventricle heart disease. He was founding member of the Fontan FORWARD program at CHOP, a program dedicated to the health and wellness of children who have undergone Fontan palliation, and he was the co-Principal Investigator on the international Fontan Udenafil Exercise Longitudinal Trial
